Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the data collection practices of V-Slice Partners. We are accountable for your personal information under PIPEDA, CCPA, and GDPR. For any privacy inquiries, contact our Data Protection Officer at admin@vslice.vc.

By filling any V-Slice Partners intake form we may collect the following categories of personal information directly from you: Identifiers (e.g., Name, Email, Country of Residence, Timezone), Professional Information (e.g., Work history, Portfolios, Hourly rates), and Internet/Electronic Network Activity (e.g., IP addresses collected via form submissions).

We process your data based on your explicit consent and our legitimate interest to facilitate talent matchmaking. Your data is used exclusively to evaluate your technical competency and present your profile to independent game studios or game publishers.
If you register a studio, publisher or agency, or submit a talent request, we also collect business contact details (contact name, email, country, timezone), company information (website, registration number, released games, size, budget range, work culture), the names and roles of team members you add, and your project requirements. We use this to verify your business against public sources, such as company registries and game stores, and to match you with talent. Once a match is confirmed, we share your contact name and email with the selected talent or their agency. We keep company information while your account is active, and remove contact names and emails 24 months after your last activity with us.
Your data is stored in our own database inside the Airtable servers.

We share your professional profile with prospective businesses only after a match has been identified and accepted by the company. We use third-party services to store and process your data, including Airtable, Fillout, Make, Squarespace and Claude.ai. Some steps use AI models through business accounts whose providers do not use your data to train their models. The data sent for match analysis contains NO NAMES or CONTACT details. Claude.ai model training is switched off.

After an engagement ends, we may ask you to rate the studio or talent you worked with. We store your rating and any tags you choose. Individual ratings are never shown to the other party; we only ever show an average built from at least 3 ratings.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill our matchmaking services. In accordance with standard data minimization principles, candidate profiles will be retained in an identifiable format for a maximum of 24 months from your last point of contact or profile update. After this period, your profile in our personal database will be permanently anonymized. This means all Personally Identifiable Information (PII) will be irreversibly scrubbed so the remaining statistical data can no longer be linked to you, unless you explicitly renew your consent to remain in our active talent pool before the 24 month mark.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, as well as the right to opt out of the sharing of your information. V-Slice Partners does not sell your personal data for monetary value. To exercise your rights, submit a formal request to admin@vslice.vc. We will respond to your request within one month.
